Life in general is getting scary for me, I'm practically half way through my degree and I'm slowly becoming a qualified teacher. What's funny about life is that I leave school, go into university, then leave university to get back into school. Isn't life a bore? I am always contemplating whether or not I can be a great teacher? I sometimes have second thoughts on being a teacher and being someone else. I really don't want to go into work fulltime just yet, I want to travel the world see what the world has to offer. Live life a bit, then settle down and work fulltime. Can this be achieved? Of course money is required to live such dreams and I hope to do so in the near future.

Hey hey - I completely understand how you feel about life beginning to get scary. It's weird to think that after living so long as a student, still trying to learn things, life can change and take you out of that environment into one where you are finally expected to put it all into good practice.

For me personally, I think the travel idea is supurb. I'm planning to take next yearoff as I think that if I keep studying non-stop into medicine, I may burn out. I've come to the conclusion that I want to actually experience life, and not just work like a maniac to try and get to a certain point. It will come someday, but I want to enjoy things on the way to getting there.
As for whether you think you can be a great teacher, I'm sure you will be. Whenever I doubt whether or not I will be a good doctor, I think of the doctors I look up to and the sorts of qualities in them that I wish to have. At the same time, I don;t think that you can let a job define who you are as at the end of the day, being a great human being is far more important than being completely defined as something else. I think you can be a great teacher as for what I know of you and what I know others feel about you, people already look up to you as one. :):)
Keep sight of the bigger picture and hopefully all will fall into place! We're all in this together (sorry, I stole Ben Lee's words...:P) so good luck!!!!
